Next we headed to the American History Museum to eat lunch and let the kids play in this Interactive area. There's all 6 kids together.

Eating lunch....Uncle Paul got banished to the kids table! Ha! Actually he wanted to eat with them!
After the Museums, the sun appeared for a short while. We walked to The White House and then to the new WWII Memorial and the Reflecting Pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Then the rain returned so we headed to the Metro to go back to the hotel. There's both kids with the Washington Monument in the distance.

The kids on the Metro leaving DC. The next day we flew home to Spokane. It was a great trip, we saw lots of friends and sites, and had just a really great time. I promise it won't be another 4 years before we return (and maybe next time I can get the hubby to come as well!)
Tim and I headed to Southern California for 4 days for some sun and relaxation while my Mom kept the kids. We had a nice trip away and really just enjoyed being outside away from snow! It was very quiet too without the constant chatter of the 2 littlest members of the family!
