Soccer's here again!

Yesterday was the kid's first soccer game. Unfortunately Pop-Daddy is unable to coach the kid's team, but my neighbor is coaching and Tim is assistant coaching. Here's 6 of the 8 kids (2 were out of town). Avery even scored her first goal! (That's her in the sunglasses)

Visitors

My Dad's niece, Cathy, and her husband, Lynn, were just here for a week. Uncle Paul flew out to visit as well. My Dad did fairly well while they were here and even posed for a picture with everyone.

Phil Vassar concert at the Fair

We took the kiddos to see Phil Vassar at the Fair. They enjoyed it and Avery sang along to most of his songs (she's quite a big music fan). Phil put on a really great show for 9/11. He's a good ol' country boy from Virginia so of course I love him!

Our seats were in the 8th row, center stage. The women in the crowd were sure loving Phil tonight!

Carson's 1st Day of Pre-K

Just one more year of preschool for Carson. He was excited to head to school this week, to see old friends and make some new ones. I cannot believe how big he is getting- I think he has grown several inches this summer!

Avery's First Day of School

All ready for her 1st day as a First Grader. We even made it to school on time!

Carson was so lost without Avery today. His preschool doesn't start until next week, and his best buddy (our neighbor William) started kindergarten today too. I figured Avery was going to be tired after a long school day, but she was full of energy when I picked her up. We will see if that lasts!

Labor Day weekend

Tim's brother Jim and my niece Jamie visited for Labor Day weekend. Tim is building a new deck and Jim, being the helpful guy that he is, came to help. I took the kids downtown for one last fun weekend before school started.
