Ski Lessons

The kids are taking ski lessons again this winter and are really enjoying themselves. Tim is not skiing this year due to his torn ACL (which will get fixed in March) but he enjoys watching the kiddos learn new skills.

Hockey Game with Tim's work

January 2009

In just 3 weeks in December/early January we received a record amount of snow- somewhere around 70 inches. Thank goodness we have now had some melt and not much new accumulation! The kids missed 2 days of school before Christmas break, were home 2 weeks for break, and then missed 3 more days after break! We are all very happy that school has returned to normal. By the way, that is a 6 foot lamp in our yard!!
A fresh new coat of snow on our tree- certainly is beautiful!

Avery making a snowman. There was so much snow in the yard that she had to build it between vehicles!

January 2009 continued

We have had some beautiful sunsets this winter.
Our little daredevil with his sled and helmet. Yes, he wears a helmet when sledding since he likes to "catch air"
